Our nephews hadn’t seen their beloved Uncle Eric in over two years, and the joy on their faces was simply priceless.
In April 2018, when Eric deployed, our nephews often expressed their concern, insisting that “no bad guys better mess with him!” Their heartfelt worry for his safety showcased just how much they adored him. When the day finally arrived for his surprise return in December, little did one of our nephews know that he was about to experience a moment that would bring tears of joy to his eyes.
As Uncle Eric entered the room, the overwhelming excitement was palpable.
